Just a stone's throw from Place Masséna, Taulissa rises to the occasion... literally. Perched on the roof of the Victoria, this spectacular address boasts a 360° view of Nice and the Mediterranean. An exceptional setting for generous, sunny Mediterranean cuisine, designed above all to be shared. Here, every plate is a stopover: artichoke barigoule, coppa and artichoke chips, anchovies on grilled focaccia, or roasted langoustine escorted by a black garlic mayonnaise. The tone is set: freshness, creativity and respect for the product. The dishes extend the experience: lamb shoulder confit at low temperature, grilled octopus basted with a burnt jalapeño jus, compressed carrots and linguine with lobster, lobster bisque, smoked paprika and seaweed butter... Masterful cooking, plates full of character. The home-made desserts are not to be outdone: light vanilla cream with salted butter caramel, or caramelized puffed rice with vanilla ice cream and cocoa nib chantilly. A well-balanced sweet score. The cellar showcases wines from the South of France, while the invigorating, aromatic house cocktails revisit herbs, spices and citrus fruits with panache. Imagined by three-starred chef Glenn Viel and his partner Fred Grava, Taulissa offers a bold, uninhibited vision of Niçoise cuisine. A table d'auteur, suspended between sky and sea, where the South is savored in all its light. And to complete the experience, impeccable service: attentive, smiling, with a rare accuracy - in the image of the place.
