MAISON ALBAR HOTELS x RICHARD ORLINSKI
Richard Orlinski unveils Le Paon in May 2023, a unique sculpture created to celebrate 100 years of the Albar family's hotel history.
THE PEACOCK, EMBLEM OF THE MAISON ALBAR HOTELS COLLECTION Symbolizing the Maison Albar Hotels collection, the peacock is a fascinating animal, symbolizing beauty, nobility and pride. It also represents rebirth and regeneration, as it molts each year to renew its plumage. Richard Orlinski created Le Paon to celebrate 100 years of the Albar family's hotel history. The work represents both the creator's universe and the image of Maison Albar Hotels, incorporating the symbol of its logo as its plumage. Watch a video on the genesis of the project: https://youtu.be/TMKZWPQStWY Le Paon can be seen at Maison Albar - Le Diamond (4 Rue de la Pépinière, 75008 Paris) until the end of May 2023. During the summer, the sculpture will travel to Nîmes, Porto and then back to Paris before settling in Nice, where the new Maison Albar address will be inaugurated in early 2024. SHARED VALUES Driven by the desire to make art accessible to as many people as possible, Richard Orlinski, a child of pop culture, has been making art lovers travel the world for over 15 years. Inspired by wild animals, all symbols of freedom, power and passion, his works are instantly recognizable. Céline Falco, through the Maison Albar Hotels collection, aims to share the art of French hospitality throughout the world, thanks to her boutique-hotels, all unique but with the same family spirit. Naturally, these two ambassadors of French culture came together to create a unique work of art. "My meeting with Céline Falco, 4th generation of the Albar family, confirmed that we share the same values of authenticity, know-how, transmission and the desire to promote French culture worldwide." - Richard Orlinski. A CHARITY PROJECT When the Maison Albar - Le Victoria opens in Nice in early 2024, a charity gala will be organized to sell the sculpture, with all proceeds going to charity. The beneficiary association, chosen jointly by Céline Falco and Richard Orlinski, will be revealed at the end of the year. "Beyond celebrating 100 years of my family's hotel history in a unique way, this work is the symbol of the collection and embodies our values. That's why I'm proud that, in the end, it will help an association close to our hearts." - Céline Falco.
